Powers and Responsibilities of the Informatics Faculty of Informatics
The Informatics Faculty of Informatics at Mahasarakham University was established by the Mahasarakham University Council, approved under Section 7 of the Act on the Administration of Internal Affairs of Higher Education Institutions B.E. 2550 (2007). The Faculty was officially recognized as an internal unit operating with the university’s income on April 24, 2003, and is divided into several departments with the following powers and responsibilities.
Secretariat Office: Responsible for supporting teaching and learning management, divided into three groups:
- Administrative Group
- Policy, Planning, and Finance Group
- Student Development Group, which supports teaching and learning management.
Departments: Responsible for managing teaching and learning, divided into six departments:
- Department of Computer Science
- Department of Information Science
- Department of Information Technology
- Department of Communication Arts
- Department of Creative Media
- Department of Geoinformatics
The Faculty of Information Science currently offers 16 courses
