The 3rd International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT 2018) aims to present the latest results of scientists related to information technology topics. In addition, the conference will strengthen the collaboration and provide opportunities for delegates to exchange and discuss new innovative ideas and research results, as well as the future directions for sustainable digital revolution. Authors are invited to submit papers presenting original research and to discuss development of new technologies. The 3rd InCIT will be held on 24-26 October 2018, at Pullman Hotel, Khon Kaen, Thailand.
We encourage researchers to submit their unpublished papers in the following areas, but not limited to:
The teaching of surgical skills, which has traditionally followed an apprentice style approach, has faced a number of challenges that have driven medical schools to seek alternatives. In the past decade, medical schools have increasingly introduced simulators into their curricula as a way to provide students with increased practice without risk to patients. With the advance of computer graphics hardware and software, virtual reality simulators have become attractive due to their relatively low cost and flexibility. The deployment of such VR simulators provides a great opportunity to gather data on student performance and to use this data to personalize instruction. I describe our work on intelligent virtual environments for surgical training that seeks to explore the potential of the integration of techniques from Virtual Reality and Intelligent Tutoring Systems to increase the effectiveness of surgical training by providing personalized instruction, assessment, and formative feedback in a form and on a scale not possible in the physical world. I describe techniques to train physical skills and to train decision making skills. I go on to describe our recent work on representing surgical procedures at the kinematic and symbolic levels in order to support rich communication with students as well as integrated teaching of psychomotor and decision making skills.
The new era of the transportation planning, it is not only using software to make decisions on how to plan the transportation but also the software needs to be generative and robust enough to generate the best route for planners. The definition of the best route is not only limited to the lowest traveling distance, but also the other related information has been decided and satisfied to the main objective functions. These information such as the fuel consumption, the satisfaction of the customer, the energy using etc. Moreover, many constraints from customer side, the limitation of the laws, road conditions, driver experiences and conditions etc. pay important role to control the decision of the decision makers. These rational factors transform the traditional transportation planning to the optimization era. Some interesting articles relating to the optimization in transportation logistics will be presented in this talk. Differential evolution algorithm, Ant colony optimization, Adaptive large scale neighborhood search will be presented as the optimization tools. The connection of the optimization and the software developer will be revealed and discussed. A number of case studies based on fussiness perspectives will be demonstrated, this includes agricultural business, SME’s, Government organization etc. Finally, the outlook of the smart transportation will be addressed.
Authors are invited to submit a full paper (6 pages) in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format. Submission of the paper must be in the form of IEEE double-column manuscript template (Microsoft Word or LaTeX - [download the templates]) for conference proceedings (Please blind author names and affiliation for the review process.). Please note that submissions exceeding the respective page limit or not formatted according to the given template will be rejected without review.
In addition, this conference accepts Research paper and Application papers.
Research Paper: We solicit papers that report on significant, original, and previously unpublished research on all topics.
Application Paper: We solicit papers promoting applications based on all topics. We particular look for industrial, innovative, and academic users of all topics to submit papers on completed and on-going practical projects.
Authors must carefully select the track to submit their papers. Submissions to multiple tracks are not allowed. Multiple submission is not allowed. Submissions should not have appeared in, be accepted for, or be under review for another track, another peer-reviewed conference or journal.
13 July 2018 (UTC)
All papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee consisting of international experts in different areas of computer science, computer engineering and ICT. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the InCIT2018 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Explore.
For any queries about the paper submission process, please send enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org
